About Dr. Ramona Kelemen

Dr. Ramona Kelemen has dedicated more than 24 years to hair restoration. Her philosophy is simple: hair restoration is not one-size-fits-all, and every patient deserves a treatment plan based on their individual needs, goals, and pattern of hair loss.
Dr. Kelemen holds two doctorate degrees: an M.D. earned in Europe and an N.D. Her path to earning both degrees reflects the comprehensive approach she brings to hair restoration today.
In 2001, she graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Vasile Goldis University in Arad, Romania, and is licensed to practice medicine in Romania and the European Union.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Kelemen moved to Scottsdale, where she began working in hair transplantation as a technician and later as a physician. Although she earned her medical degree in Europe and is ECFMG certified, she chose to continue her education at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, allowing her to combine allopathic and naturopathic medical knowledge in her approach to patient care.
Today, Dr. Kelemen serves as Medical Director of Hair 4 Life Medical in Scottsdale, where she provides both surgical and non-surgical hair restoration options. Her experience includes advanced techniques such as Manual FUE, No-Shave FUE, Long Hair FUE, and FUT hair transplantation.
Her dual background in conventional and naturopathic medicine allows her to take a broader view of hair loss, considering not only surgical restoration but also the underlying factors that may contribute to thinning or shedding. This individualized approach helps patients better understand their options and choose a treatment plan that fits their needs.
With more than two decades of experience in hair restoration, Dr. Kelemen continues to focus on personalized treatment, patient education, and natural-looking results.
Hair Transplant Experience & Approach
After graduating from medical school in 2001, Dr. Ramona Kelemen moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she began building her career in hair restoration. Over the following two decades, she developed extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical approaches to hair loss and ultimately founded Hair 4 Life Medical.
As Medical Director of Hair 4 Life Medical, Dr. Kelemen works with a wide range of modern hair transplant techniques rather than relying on a single procedure for every patient. Her experience includes Manual FUE, No-Shave FUE, Long Hair FUE, and FUT hair transplantation, along with non-surgical hair restoration options.
Her approach begins with understanding the individual patient, including their pattern of hair loss, donor availability, medical history, goals, and long-term expectations. From there, she develops a treatment plan based on the method or combination of treatments best suited to that patient.
Dr. Kelemen’s background in both conventional and naturopathic medicine also gives her a broader perspective on hair loss. When appropriate, she considers underlying factors that may contribute to thinning or shedding in addition to evaluating whether surgical restoration is the right option.
